Chocolate Banana Bites

Whether you're typically the kind of person who likes to meal prep or not, you probably find yourself wanting a mid-day snack very often. This choice does not have to be an unhealthy one. My advice for non-meal preppers... DO IT. I am telling you, it will make your life so much easier and you will find that you will make much healthier decisions for your body. Some people make everything for the week on Sunday but you could totally prep for a few days at a time! That is typically what I do.

This snack is so simple while also being healthy and delicious. It just takes a few minutes to make and then at least an hour in the fridge.

Grab a ripe banana and cut it into slices. Melt the healthiest but most delicious dark chocolate you have. I use 100 percent Dagoba which contains only cacao! This chocolate is a little bitter so I like to add honey or maple syrup, your choice! Dip the banana slices in the melted chocolate then add topings like sea salt and nuts. You could also do berries, nut butter, coconut... anything that you enjoy but remember to make sure your food is nourishing your body!
